Innovative medical diagnostics start-up, competing globally in the high growth point-of-care blood testing market seeks a Chief Operating Officer. Their technology integrates immunoassay, biochemistry and haematology assays on a single disc allowing for full disease diagnostics available within minutes.
As a true business partner to the CEO, you will manage and run the day-to-day operations, delivering development milestones within budget and in line with company's long term strategy.
Manage all supplier relations, with specific emphasis on recommending, managing and delivering out-sourced manufacturing projects on time, to specification and within budget.
Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment to company's strategic plan, especially as the company considers Series A VC funding.
You should preferably have experience in the medical diagnostics / scientific industry with at least eight years experience as COO or equivalent, preferably in a hi-tech, equity-backed organization with a budget of at least €20 million.
Experience in a senior operations-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in development and execution of creative operational strategies.
A minimum of a BS/BE in an engineering or science related discipline; an MBA would be a plus.
