Due to continued expansion of their operations medical device multinational based in Galway are seeking applications from a suitably qualified and experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Projects) with a materials background (Polymers). The role will involve investigating material related issues and driving data based decisions through identification of appropriate testing and subsequent interpretation of results (including FTIR, DSC, DMTA & Rheology testing).
Take direction from the production engineering team in driving key projects to enhance quality, service & cost.
You should have strong Extrusion and Moulding processing knowledge with at least 18 months previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within medical device / regulated industry.
Hons Degree (Hetac level 8) in Polymer/Materials Engineering or equivalent
