Following on from an excellent year in 2010 and with exciting new products due in the market this major clinical diagnostics company are now looking for an Account Manager to further develop and grow a territory covering North East UK.
You will be responsible for gaining new business as well providing professional account management to the existing client base. The ideal candidate will have the following:
Education/Experience:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a science based subject e.g. Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Science
• Proven commercial experience, preferably in a sales role within the Diagnostics or Medical Devices industry and ideally in the fields of Blood Transfusion, Immunoheamatology or Heamatology.
• Prior Experience as a Biomedical Scientist within an NHS Hospital Pathology Department or Blood Transfusion Service would also be desirable.

• Enthusiastic, confident self starter with a track record of success
• Able to demonstrate persistence, endurance and tenacity in pursuit of their goals
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships
• Enjoys working in a team environment. Willing to engage and support other team members to achieve a common goal
• Ability to manage complex issues and situations
