- Description: Technical Manager - Oncology - Based London - To £55k
This company are leading the way pioneering significant innovations and clinical solutions for treating cancer and brain disorders. The company develops sophisticated state of the art tools and treatment planning systems for radiation therapy and radiosurgery, as well as workflow enhancing software systems across the spectrum of cancer care.
The role is to develop the company's imaging support capability and competence by monitoring industry best practice, identify a product support and knowledge management strategy for their imaging products and work cross-functionally to drive its implementation.
These are the main headings to work under:
Technical authority for service methods.
Identify technical competence development needs.
Review and oversight of support activities.
Work with the design engineering team to ensure that the products are designed to meet service needs and requirements.
Customer Support.
Knowledge capture and delivery.
Post market surveillance.
Candidates will need to demonstrate exceptional technical, interpersonal and communication skills and be highly conversant and experienced with a broad range of oncology instrumentation. You will be a good negotiator with excellent customer skills, be a proactive communicator and capable of rational, structured and logical thinking, with your written and verbal output being concise and accurate.
The minimum qualification is HND/HNC Electronic & Electrical/Mechanical engineering or scientific background. You will have management experience of projects, teams and change and strong software support & IT skills and have strong analytical skills able to solve systems level problems.
