Leading medical, surgical and scientific solution provider of innovative products and services is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their internal team in Essex.

As Marketing Assistant, you will be required to work in close conjunction with the Marketing Communications & Brand Manager and Assistant Manager - UK, MEA & Ireland, Product Specialist teams and Head Of/General Manager group.
You will be analysing the market for medical devices within the product portfolio, devising and implementing marketing strategies to achieve the greatest return on investment from the company's resources. Assisting in planning development, implementing and measurement of marketing communications and public relations activities, both external and internal, delivering measurable projects and campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality. Assisting in the coordination of activity at both a strategic and tactical level within the Medical/Surgical & Microscopy team to ensure marketing and communications ideas and opportunities are maximised.

You role with include:
*Analysing market environment with regard to procedure trends and volume
*Analysing competitor activity in each market segment and define a marketing strategy for devices based on this intelligence
*Implementing Big Picture Strategy for all marketing projects and coordinate to achieve a universal approach to enhance brand equity
*Fully manage Healthcare Professional engagement programme including testimonials and participation at key events
*Devising innovative strategies and campaigns to support the sales team in order to generate high quality new sales leads
*Developing and implementing specific collateral to support sales, marketing, brand development, communications and public relations activities
*Developing and updating marketing strategy for all products and services
*Identifying and evaluating specific channels that may be used for promotional and marketing purposes
*Supporting effective marketing campaigns which deliver key messages, USPs and brand collateral to the target channels and industry sectors


You will require:
* Advanced ability in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Proven success in writing professional web and marketing copy, with the ability to produce compelling and optimised copy while maintaining brand messaging, persuasiveness and readability
* Creative thinker with proven campaign experience
* Excellent communication skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing
* Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
* Experience & excellent working knowledge of major social media channels including LinkedIn and Twitter
* Experience in marketing with a minimum of one year of experience in marketing communications in healthcare related fields
* Possess an expert knowledge in the field of Medical Marketing
* Advanced ability in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Willing to travel throughout the UK and occasionally work unsocial hours
* High level of attention to detail and organisation skills
