Sales Specialist: Medical Devices: North UK region: Competitive salary and full benefits.

A leading European Healthcare company and manufacturer of innovative optical and digital equipment for the healthcare and consumer electronics sectors is seeking a sales specialist to join their team focusing on the North of the UK.
For over 90 years, our client has led the way in designing endoscopy and microscopy products, medical and industrial equipment, as well as cameras and voice recorders.

The position is based in the Northern region, but for the future the client sees this as being a regional role, resulting in the territory reducing in size.
You need to be based ideally in or around Manchester or Liverpool and will be focussing on North of England.


Job Description

As Sales Specialist you will be responsible for promoting & selling a range of products e.g. Endoscope Washer Disinfectors + Endoscope Storage Cabinets & Chemistry etc. You will manage multiple sales opportunities and co-ordinate department projects with internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for the completion of bespoke tenders.
*Tender submissions - Complete detailed & bespoke tender documents within a tight time-scale.
*Provide support and technical assistance to key project stakeholders
*Technical data - To discuss the pre-installation requisites of equipment and at times third party equipment.
*Support during the sales process stages- to provide technical detail and solutions to an array of internal and external customer queries related to the project.
*Project meetings - To provide and maintain project minutes/reports
*Dealing with challenges and providing bespoke solutions in a highly customer centric environment.
*Legislation & guidelines - To keep up to date with current decontamination guidelines & legislation.
*Attendance of Exhibitions & Conferences
*Deliver end user training and revalidation
*Work with wider G&R colleagues to promote total endoscopy solution.


You will require:
*Educated to a degree standard is desirable but not essential.
*Project management qualifications (Prince2) would be an advantage.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
*Living in or around Manchester or Liverpool.
