Business Development Manager - Immunology/Infectious Diseases - Based South London - To £45K plus bonus and car etc

This company specialises in producing test systems for the determination of various antibodies in patient serum in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases and allergies. They are now looking to recruit an outstanding Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, lead generation and nurturing/developing customer relationships to further grow the business. You will be primarily office based in South-West London although there will be a requirement for UK travel.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a biosciences- related subject and possibly experience in laboratory diagnostics in an NHS pathology department, preferably in the area of autoimmune diseases and/or infectious diseases. It is desirable that you have business development/sales experience in equivalent diagnostics products companies with proven success. You will have knowledge of business strategy, experience of presenting proposals to a range of customers and experience of troubleshooting and handling customer queries. You will be highly motivated, driven and creative with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will be a real people person and expect to join a welcoming, professional and respectful team.
