Territory Manager: Industrial Sales: NDT, Industrial Microscopy: S Scotland and Ireland: Competitive salary, benefits package and company car.

Our client offers scientific solutions based on innovative products and services for professionals from Industrial segments. Industrial solutions range from materials science microscopes and industrial video-scopes to non-destructive testing technology and x-ray analyzers.

This post reports to the National sales manager and is responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the Industrial product portfolio comprising of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Analytical Instrumentation (ANI) and Industrial Microscopy throughout the territory (S Scotland & Ireland). The role involves demonstrating equipment, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for the portfolio, as well as providing after sales support.

Your Responsibilities:

*Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with customers

*Managing and interpreting customer requirements

*Co-ordinating sales projects

*Technical presentations

*Pre-sales technical assistance and product education

*Recording of activity in company CRM system

*Attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings.

*Work across a wide variety of environments including high end research in academia and the UK Manufacturing quality assurance and R+D facilities within a number of industries including; Automotive, Aerospace and Electronics

You will require:

*Relevant experience in a scientific and /or engineering environment

*Experience of technical sales ideally within the Automotive, Aerospace or Oil and Gas sector

*Previous working experience with RVI, NDT, XRF or Microscopy is desirable

*A higher-level education in science or engineering would be an advantage

*A high level of technical aptitude.

*A strong commercial acumen

*A full clean UK driving licence is essential.

*Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint

*Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills

*Ability to present technical information in a structured and balanced way

*A good understanding of the sales process
