Sales Representative : Liquid Handling & Protein Crystallisation: Southern UK : Competitive salary + Incentive scheme

Our client is global leader in hardware and software solutions for protein crystallization automation. A fast moving dynamic small company with lots of new products in development. They have also developed a proprietary microfluidic dispensing technology and new high throughput dPCR platform.

As a result of growth, a new position has been created and as such, this client is seeking a sales representative to help increase the sales footprint and drive the growing liquid handling and dPCR product lines, throughout the south of the UK.

The role:
The territory consists of Southern UK, with a strong focus on Cambridge, London and Oxford. You will be required to be very much hands-on, organized and detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable identifying prospects, making cold calls, learning the technical details of the products, and provide technical solo demonstrations to customers ( Extensive training will be provided)
You should ideally be located within 1 hour of key Cambridge science parks and institutions.

You will require:
Friendly approach, with excellent people skills.
Min of 1 year sales (capital or non capital), preferably in the genomics market space.
Technically strong/able.
Computer skills are a must.
Responsive and organized.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Ideally a Life Science (Biology)/Engineering degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Genomics, Small Molecule Screening would be ideal.
