System Build Operative - Cambridge - £20 - £25k

This company is a market leader in the development and manufacture of specialist light sources such as Xenion and Krypton Arc and Flash lamps. Xenon Flash lamps produce wavelengths from UV to IR and can be used as the light source for a broad range of applications including Industrial, Medical and Scientific Lasers, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for Cosmetic and Hair Removal, Solar stimulation for PV testing and Weathering, UV Sterilisation and Disinfection. Their Arc and Flash Division have now merged with their Optics and Analytics division who make light sources for optical and spectrophotomic instruments. They also offer complete solutions for Rapid Thermal Heating, Sintering and Curing applications and are applying their products to new applications in the 3D Printing Electronics and Flexible Transistor markets.

This is a very exciting time for the company based in Cambridge; 2017 was a great year for them and 2018 is looking to have been even better. This position is a completely new role that has been created within a new team.

Main purpose of the role would be the assembly of systems, Electrical/functional testing of builds, creating documentation to support system builds ect....

As an ideal candidate you will have the ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings, proven mechanical knowledge and skills and be comfortable reacting to change resulting from evolving/integrating designs when there is an issue. SAP working knowledge is desirable
