Field Service Engineer - Laboratory Gas Generators/Scientific Instruments - England - £35k To£45k

Experienced Field Service Engineer required by analytical instrumentation servicing organisation based in Kent.
This role is for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a proven track record in field based service engineering of laboratory gas generators.
You will be installing, maintaining, validating and repairing equipment across the UK, with some travel to the Nordics and Western Europe.
The ideal candidate would live close to a major road network. Customers include major pharmaceutical/petrochemical/food&flavour companies.
Occasional trips abroad are required for this is demanding and interesting role.
It is essential that you are flexible and able to travel and stay away from home three or four nights a month.

The main criteria are good fault finding skills with knowledge of lab based gas generators and scientific instruments.
Ideally with experience in the pharmaceutical industry or hospital pathology laboratories, in particular dissolution testing, HPLC & GC equipment.
You should be able to demonstrate a professional, polished manner and excellent customer facing skills.

Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications required.
