Time Stops for No-One

This week I celebrated 15 years at Delta. Go Me!! I actually joined first time round in 1998 before being lured away in 2001 by the chance to work solely in Executive Search. Oh, my how things have changed since those early days of CVs arriving in the post, job index cards, no Google, companies recognising the absolute need for Trainee sales people and a true sense of humanity. Now we have a one-click world, job sites that apply for you, AI screening, video applications and CRM systems. I hold my hands up and admit AI freaks me out. Maybe I am naïve or maybe I am just really lucky that processes at Delta are simple enough not to take hours of one's life so we can focus as always on people and giving the very best service we can. Today's world challenges us frequently but we rise above it though our solid foundations of quality not quantity, transparency and honesty plus agility and responsiveness. As a business we will never lose sight of the fact we deal with humans who have drive, feelings, demands and dreams - both clients and candidates. Here's to another few years at least for me, contributing to the addictive world we call recruitment.

Happy Friday everyone!
